This hard retractable cover is built with impact-resistant, 1" thick aluminum slats that keep your gear protected from both thieves and the elements. When locked and paired with your tailgate, it creates a sealed barrier that’s tough to pry open or cut through. The matte black finish is scratch-resistant and won’t fade in the sun, so it keeps its clean look through years of use. Weather stripping and foam seals block out rain, snow, and dust, and the cover overlaps the tailgate for extra protection.
Opening and closing the cover takes almost no effort thanks to sealed ball-bearing rollers that glide along the rails without binding or needing lubrication. There are no hinges or joints to trap dirt or freeze up, so it stays easy to roll no matter the season. The pop-up handle lets you move the cover with one hand, and you can latch it at any point along the rails to leave space for long cargo while still shielding smaller items up front.
When open, the cover rolls neatly into a compact canister at the front of the bed. The angled bottom design leaves more space underneath for hauling tools, lumber, or camping gear. Its spiral track system prevents the slats from rubbing against each other, which helps the cover last longer and retract smoothly every time. Two built-in drain tubes route water out of the canister, keeping everything inside clean and dry.
The side rails sit just 1" above the bed, giving the cover a sleek, flush appearance that reduces wind drag and complements the truck’s lines. Even with its slim profile, the cover supports up to 500 lbs of evenly distributed weight, so snow buildup or extra gear won’t be a problem. It installs without drilling—just clamp the rails to the bed, attach the drain tubes, and it’s ready to go.

Install looks great Jesse! We couldn’t agree more about the instructions. Honestly, unclear instructions are exactly why we started making our own install videos many moons ago, because seeing it done can make all the difference. It’s good to hear the cover feels solid and slides smoothly once installed. Your notes on water sealing and debris are fair, especially with RamBox-equipped beds and tailgate fitment. After about a year owning this cover, I still would buy it again. If you set it up right in the first place, it will work flawlessly. The locking mechanism still works great. The rolling part still works great. Aside from a solid cover, this is the most secure cover I have ever had. It does get some drips of water inside after washing the truck but its not enough to worry about, even if you had a bed full of stuff.

So on the plus side, love how it opens all the way up. When were loading the bed for travel, I need it fully open. Downside is the amount of room the canister takes up and the water as previously mentioned. Still quite easy to use!
